Rosterly's early product was a scheduling spreadsheet exported weekly to shift managers at retail and hospitality locations — no real-time visibility when someone called in sick, no way for workers to swap shifts without a manager rebuilding the schedule by hand, and no mobile experience for an hourly workforce that doesn't sit at a desk.

We designed a mobile-first scheduling system from a clean design system built specifically for fast, one-handed use on a phone between shifts. Managers build schedules against live labor-cost targets, workers request and approve shift swaps directly in the app, and open shifts fill through a real-time notification queue instead of manager phone calls.
