A ground-up storefront rebuild and technical SEO overhaul for a DTC outdoor gear brand.

Harborline's storefront was built on a page-builder platform that shipped megabytes of unused JavaScript on every page, had no server-rendered content for search engines to index properly, and was losing organic rankings to competitors with faster, better-structured sites. Core Web Vitals were failing on mobile, and category pages had near-duplicate content across filtered URL variants.
We rebuilt the storefront on Next.js with server-rendered product and category pages, connected to their existing Shopify catalog through the Storefront API so the commerce backend didn't need to change. We fixed canonical tags across filtered category URLs, added structured data for products and reviews, and cut the JavaScript payload by removing the page-builder's runtime entirely.
